Initially developed during World War II, IFF technologies have undergone significant evolution over the decades, transitioning from physical devices mounted on the ground, in aircraft, and on related platforms to modern digital architectures. Today's IFF systems build upon radar-based interrogation and response signal transponder systems, serving as a critical component of Combat Identification (CID) systems within C4ISR structures for national defense. Sunkye's R06 Nano-D Connectors adhere to Military Specification MIL-DTL-32139, featuring Twist Pin contact technology with a contact center spacing of 0.635 mm (.025") within the same row. These connectors have been rigorously tested and proven to withstand high shock conditions, ensuring resilience against the intense shock and vibration levels often encountered during aggressive UAV landings. Additionally, they exhibit robust performance in extreme temperature environments ranging from -55°C to +125°C.
